Barb is available to teach clinics either at her farm or yours. She has been training Border Collies since 1974 and breeding, training and competeing since 1990. Barb and her husband, Bernie, have competed succesfully throughout the East Coast and Canada. Barb first qualified for the USBCHA finals in 1999 with two dogs, Taff and Anne. Taff made it into the semi-finals. Since that time, Barb has qualified the dogs she is running when the finals have taken place on the east coast. Meg has qualified every year since she started in open. All the dogs she has competed with, she has trained herself. Jazz was the only dog Barb bought that had some training which consisted of an outrun and gather but no drive. It was felt by many that Jazz would never drive however with patience and persistence, Jazz became a consistent competitor in open for Barb, usually placing in the top ten.
